I started the post title as June Brag Book, didn't realize I as so far behind! I have been so busy with packing for the move, first to a campground then to the house when it is finally built. Oh well, after the 30th I will have plenty of time, not much to do at a campground but swim in the pool! Of course I am planning on getting back to whittling and of course catch up on the brag books!

I finally stopped to do the April Brag Book Page. Of course it is titled “April Showers”.

As you scroll down you will see what I am doing now in crafting. I am whittling clothes pins to make unique handmade Christmas Ornaments for you tree or to give as gifts. It is never too early to start setting aside gifts for Christmas. Clothes Pins I finished Painting

Here is a picture of the clothes pins I finished.

I am selling them for $8 dollars to start with Plus shipping and insurance. Let me know if anyone is interested in ordering any.

I do have snowmen but have not painted any of them yet.I had some leftover decorative trim I was trimming things in the kitchen with and decided if I could carve on them. Here is the results though I am not done painting it.

Yes and I still have to do the April Brag Book…it is coming yet!

OMG! Crafting Hazard

Here I am sitting in my living room and I am smelling a wood fire so I told Mike, hubby, there must be a fire somewhere. He came out of the bedroom and says the same thing. He went outside to check where it was coming from and when he comes back in he says it is not from back. I tell him it must be coming somewhere from the front of the house. When he got to the Florida room, this is where I do my crafting, he says that the magnifying glass is burning the styrofoam that I set some of my clothes pins on. The sun burnt the clothes pin and a hole in the styrofoam. We have been gone most of the last couple days, almost all day. I am so thankful that it happened today...though I only put the clothes pins there yesterday as I was painting on them yesterday. I removed the magnifying glass for the little lamp!

Here is March's Brag Book....Thought I better get it up tonight as I work tomorrow, which makes the day a little more hectic, and Tuesday, if nothing else comes up we will be laying the kitchen floor.

I used the icy blue/white for the ice/snow that may still make it's appearance in many parts of the world and green for grass making it's appearance thru the snow.

If March comes in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb!

In the folder is the lion/lamb clothes pins in a PNG format as well.

March Brag Book Page

I am in the process of getting the March Brag Book Page ready...I am trying to think of something to go with March like "in like a lion, it will go out like a lamb." So you will have to wait to see what I come up with.

Also one of my "groups" were doing fans so I may put one of them in as well.

We have been busy working on our house, such as putting laminated flooring in the kitchen that looks like a light wood floor. It will be exciting to have the floor done as the square 'stick em' tiles look very sad. Also need to finish painting the door we put in that goes to the Florida room, which we bought used for $5. It had 5 glass panels but the top one was cracked and the bottom one I was afraid I break, it is close to the floor. So my plan is to paint a scene on those two wooden panels we put in that somehow carry a theme such as under the water and above the water, OR under the earth and the sky above. That should be interesting. I actually have two sides to paint so I will have to come up with two different scenery! Just a note here, the people who lived here before us took all the doors out of this manufacture home we have and we are trying to find doors to fit to replace them. So these are some of the fun projects we are doing but I have to get back to whittling soon if I am going to have anything to send to the big "Gray" art show in Mahtomedi, MN!

Here are the Brag Book pages that I made for the month of January and February. You can print them out and make a little brag book. I am planning on doing this for each month of the year so by the end of the year you will have a 12 page Brag Book with the same design in the background, same grouping of pictures and a clothes pin that hopefully will go with that month’s theme. I labeled them as Personal Use...thus the PU in the file name, but I also labeled it for S4O, meaning you can insert pictures other people give you and maybe make a little money. I may not be making any money with my digi scrap designing but go for it if you can. Also in the file are the clothes pin I used to make each page. The clothes pins have CU4CU in the name meaning you can put them in with a kit you are making to sell or for other's to sell! I hope you enjoy January, above and February, below. If you have any questions just post a comment to the post.

Whittling

I have been whittling and not doing much in PSP so that is the reason I have not put a freebie up. I will try to get one up in the next week and if I paint what I am whittling I may show you the results too.

Working on a Christmas Kit plus a Freebie

I have been working on a Christmas Kit. I should have it done in a couple days

as I have been working with the munchkins this week.

I will give you a sample of what will be in the kit.

Here are the previews I have done.

This is the size of the trees on a full size paper.

Some of the balls are transparent, frosted etc, I may add some more balls to this preview.

I still have to do the paper previews but that usually takes me a while and I have some other things I want to finish up and add to the kit.

Now to the freebie….

I am sure you will find great uses for it....I will give you a sneak peak of an example I made. Of course you can make yours any color and whatever depth for the shadowing and highlighting you want! I am thinking maybe I should make a template for all of you who have photoshop so if you are interested just leave a comment so I know there is an interest. The script and template will go for $2. OH by the way, the box with or without a lid is here as well to wrap your gifts in! That is already in the store, both in the Christmas Department and in the Script Department.

Cleaning

I have cleaned out a lot of posts that are unnecessary for my store blog so it looks I have not posted very many times. This is not true, just trying to clean things up a bit. I am finally getting time to add things and get the whole store blog started. I need to mention my husband and I have been spending a lot of time looking for land where we will have a little more space and less aggravation that comes from living so close to neighbors besides paying for lot rent that basically does nothing for us. Then my sub job is turning out to be full time, oh well. This is another reason why I am so slow at getting things set up. Hopefully this will change.

I am slowly but surely getting the store set up. Thank you everyone for being patient. As some of you who know me knows I disappear on the houseboat, without Internet, at least once a month so I get very little done during that time. I am also subbing at the schools in the area, which I thought would be just an occasional day of work here and there and is turning to be almost a full time position! Love the little ones though. I need to finish one more "department" of the stores and then start adding merchandise with download buttons. Friends have shown me a site to use that customers can get there merchandise without interruption from my monthly dissappearance. I hope to have everything ready soon...Keep checking back. Well I am slowly but surely setting up my BLOG STORES. It takes a lot of thinking of how this all should occur.

I have decided I am going to set them up by categories to make it easier for people to find things. So far I have the Script Store and Element Store started. I will work on the Papers/Overlays/O&E Store next.

This is on top of getting ready to go to the springs again for awhile. It is very calming for us to be there so it is a necessary part of our lives.

Well I am testing this new program that my friend Funky told me about. So I can see my background page of the blog and at the top of this page where I am writing in it asks me to put in a title, which I did. Now I am writing the body of the message. I am going to fool around with it and see if you can also add things like freebies… We will see.

I have to pass this on to 5 people. And I am new to this so this will take me a little time.
